Once the script sells, buyers talk back: reviews on the item page, reports to moderators, and disputes when something doesn’t work. The Author dashboard collects what needs you under Needs attention.

Reviews

  • Anyone with access can review the item 24 hours after getting it. Expired term access counts; access closed by a refund doesn’t.
  • A rating from 1 to 5 and 20–2000 characters of text. One review per buyer, which they can edit. The version and branch are filled in for them.
  • Reviews from grants are marked Granted. They’re visible but don’t count toward the rating, so handing out access can’t raise it.
  • Other users mark reviews Helpful and can report them: abuse, spam or ads, not about the item, extortion (“5 stars if you refund me”). Moderators hide the ones that break the rules.

Replying

You can post one reply under each review, shown as Author’s reply. Edit it any time; an empty reply removes it. The share of reviews you answered is on your author profile, so reply to the bad ones too: calmly, with the fix or the version that has it.

Reports

Anyone can report an item: Someone else’s or stolen content, Malicious code, Doesn’t match the description or Other. A moderator looks at it and either dismisses it, takes the item down, or writes to you. When moderation writes to you, it’s a support ticket named after the item, and the dashboard shows Moderation wrote about «…» with Reply. Answer there. A taken-down item is Banned: it’s off the catalog and editing is closed.

Disputes

A dispute is how a buyer gets money back for a script that doesn’t work or isn’t as described.
  • Paid purchases only, within 7 days of the purchase or renewal. Grants and free items can’t be disputed.
  • Reasons: doesn’t work, not as described, removed by the author.
  • While it’s open, the buyer keeps access, and your money for that sale stays on hold.
  • You have 48 hours to reply. Open it from Needs attention. Ask for a log, fix the bug, point to the version with the fix. Your reply goes to the moderator and the buyer.
  • Then a moderator decides: a full refund, a partial refund, or no refund.

Refunds

The refund comes out of that sale’s hold first, then out of your available income. The buyer’s review stays either way.
Most disputes are “doesn’t work after the game update”. A beta branch, a changelog that says what was tested, and a quick reply in the dispute solve them before a moderator has to.
