spd publish is a new version. Buyers with active access get updates for free, on the
branch they picked. Nothing is ever rebuilt or deleted behind your back: a branch is a pointer to
one of your versions, and you move it.
Branches
Buyers switch branches in My purchases or in their Cloud. The first
spd publish --branch beta
turns beta on, open to all owners. To change who can load it, open Branches & versions in the
editor: Who can load it is All buyers or Granted only. Testers get a closed branch
through a grant.
Turning a branch off moves its users to stable. Stable can’t be turned off.
